সাধারণ দিনমজুর শ্রমজীবী নুন আনতে পান্তা ফুরায় অবস্থা। একদিন কাজ করলে সংসার চলে যদি কাজ না পায় তাহলে না খেয়েই থাকতে হয়। সংসারের চারজনকে নিয়ে স্বামী স্ত্রী এক ছেলে এক কন্যা। কমলাসাগর বিধানসভার ফুলতলী পঞ্চায়েতের 5 নং ওয়ার্ডের বাসিন্দা বাদল দেব এর বাড়ি মতিনগর। লকডাউনের আজ একাদশতম দিন কিন্তু বাড়ি থেকে বের না হতে পেরে ছেলে স্ত্রীকে নিয়ে কষ্টে দিন কাটাতে দেখা যায় তাদের কে। গোটা রাজ্যে যখন  বিভিন্ন ক্লাব, সামাজিক সংস্থা এবং রাজনৈতিক নেতৃত্বৱা   সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে কিন্তু বাদল দেব এর ক্ষেত্রে ব্যতিক্রম। স্থানীয় ফুলতুলি পঞ্চায়েত কিংবা মন্ডল, বাম কিংবা  ডান নেতৃত্বৱা এগিয়ে আসেনি বলে অভিযোগ তার। এই সংকটময় পরিস্থিতি থেকে রক্ষা পেতে মহকুমা এবং জেলা প্রশাসনের পাশাপাশি রাজ্যের মাননীয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রী বিপ্লব কুমার দেব এর
নিকট সাহায্যের আর্জি জানিয়েছেন বাদল বাবু। এদিকে রাজ্য সরকার সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য বিভিন্ন সুযোগ-সুবিধার প্যাকেজ ঘোষণা করেছেন। ইতিমধ্যেই জেলা ও মহকুমা প্রশাসন সরকারের ঘোষিত সুবিধাগুলো সাধারণ মানুষের নিকট পৌঁছে দেওয়ার জন্য রাতদিন কাজ করছেন। এর পরেও এই ধরনের ঘটনা কেন হচ্ছে তা তদন্ত করা প্রয়োজন বলে মনে করছেন সচেতন মহল।

 Badal Babu has applied for help.  Meanwhile, the state government has announced various package of benefits for the common people.  Already, the district and subdivision administration has been working day and night to reach the declared benefits of the government.  However, Mahal said it was necessary to investigate why such incidents were taking place.
